Hi Everyone! I’m so happy to finally be sharing the reveal of our baby boys nursery. I went back and forth deciding on a theme for a while, however, once we finally had our minds set on a panda bear theme the rest just all kind of came together little by little and I am SO happy with the end result.
I knew with deciding on a panda theme I didn’t want the nursery to just be limited to black and white. I felt that was too dull for our little boy, and my taste if I’m being honest. I wanted a cozy feel and something different than all the typical nursery themes you see on the internet. I have been LOVING this baby blue pastel color, and let’s be real I have always loved gold, so I knew I wanted to add in bits and pieces of those two colors as well. I put together a vision board with baby blue’s, black, white and gold and loved how the colors surprisingly complimented each other without being too busy.
The large Panda rug was my main focal point to tie the whole room together. When I found it on Etsy I knew it just had to be put in our son’s room. After that, I figured it would be smooth sailing… boy was I wrong! Panda bear things are not as easy to come across as you may think. I had a difficult time finding a lot of pieces, especially in the beginning. There were a lot of times I doubted how the final product was going to turn out but I’m so happy with the end result.
